Epistemic Wealth: How Human-Machine Intelligence Is Rewiring Global Markets
Today I’m publishing the Manifesto and the first chapter of my new book — free, in English & Spanish.
A supercomputer called Deep Thought spent 7.5 million years computing the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything.
The answer was 42.
No one knew what to do with it — because no one had ever defined the question.
This is the state of artificial intelligence in 2025. We have built the most powerful computational architecture in history. It predicts the next token with god-like precision. It writes code, passes bar exams, diagnoses disease.
Infinite compute. Zero astuteness. No courage. No sense of what is eternal.
When the regime changes — when the rules shift beneath the surface — it collapses. Because it lives on the curve. It navigates the curve perfectly. But it cannot see the center.
The New Species
Human population is plateauing. The UN says global fertility is falling below replacement across the developed world. But a new species of intelligence is rising — not linearly. Exponentially.
By 2050, AI agents will outnumber humans 100 to 1. Humanoid robots will approach 1 billion units. These are not my numbers. These are Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, and the United Nations.
In January, I called this the R.A.C.E. convergence — Robotics, AI, Compute, Energy. I gave you the trades. The ticker symbols. The liquidity cycle.
But I never gave you the why. The framework underneath the framework. The geometry that makes the trades inevitable.
Today I am publishing it.
The Manifesto
EPISTEMIC WEALTH How Human-Machine Intelligence Is Rewiring Global Markets
The Manifesto is live now at epistemic.macrowise.capital — in English and Spanish.
It is not a summary of the book. It is the declaration that precedes the book. The philosophical backbone. It argues one thing:
There exists a set of deep invariants — truths that survive every transformation, every regime change, every collapse. Current AI cannot find them alone. Humans cannot find them alone. But the collective of humans and machines — humans who feel the vibe and machines who quantify it — can.
Humans point. Machines reveal. Humans feel. Machines quantify. This is not replacement. This is co-creation of the Epistemic Core.
I call this Invariant Intelligence. It is the only asset that cannot be automated, cannot be disrupted, and cannot be inflated away.
The best investors of the next era will not be the best forecasters. They will be the best regime detectors.
The Manifesto maps this from first principles — with interactive visualizations, the population convergence chart, and the four signals from Jensen Huang, Elon Musk, Didier Sornette, and a whiteboard that changed how I think about intelligence.
Read it before anything else. It is designed to be consumed in one sitting.
Chapter 1 — The Turkey’s Wager (Free, Starting Today)
The Manifesto tells you what to build toward. Chapter 1 tells you what to run from.
For one thousand mornings, a farmer brings corn. The turkey’s confidence grows to 100%. Then comes Day 1,001. The farmer carries a knife.
The most dangerous asset in the world is the one that never moves.
This is the operating logic of $33 trillion in Treasuries and $60 trillion in 60/40 portfolios. But the chapter goes somewhere no one has mapped before — a taxonomy of two distinct species of the same cognitive bias:
⚡ The Volatility Sellers — those who build the knife. Portfolio Insurance. LTCM. The Swiss Franc Peg. Volmageddon. Archegos. Five cases across five decades where the strategy itself manufactured the catastrophe.
⏳ The Paradigm Passengers — those who don’t see it coming. Roman Latifundia. British Consols. General Electric. The 60/40 portfolio. US Treasuries. Five centuries of “safe” assets that died when the paradigm that minted them expired.
The Tesla short sellers were both species at once. They lost $40 billion.
Ten case studies. The dual S-curve crossover. The Safe Asset Graveyard. The complete epistemic ledger of Production Hell. It is the most detailed chapter I have ever written — and it is free.
The Roadmap
The book is being built in public. Every Sunday, a new chapter — free, in English and Spanish.
One Last Thing
This book exists because of seven years of conversations with James Leitner — founder of Falcon Management, one of the original global macro traders, and investor and advisor at MacroWise. His fingerprints are on every chapter. But the book is being finished in conversation with you.
The Manifesto ends with four questions. Let me leave you with the first one:
What in your portfolio survives every regime?
Write your answer. Then go read the Manifesto. Then read Chapter 1. Then come back and tell me if your answer changed.
The answer was never the point.
It was the invitation to ask the right question.

P.S. — Para la comunidad hispanohablante: el Manifiesto y cada capítulo están en español. Cada domingo, un capítulo nuevo.
